ORDINANCE NO. 2354

 

PERMITTING HEALTH CLUBS AND SERVICES IN LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONES AS A SPECIAL USE AND PERMITTING THE DISPLAYING, STORING AND SELLING OF AUTOMOBILES, PICKUP TRUCKS AND VANS AS A SPECIAL USE IN LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONES.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

1. That the Use/Zone Matrix, which is Figure 4-3-4 of Chapter 32 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, be amended by providing that the use category Health/Athletic Clubs & Services (swimming pool as an accessory use) be permitted in the I-1 zone of the City (Light Industrial) as a Special Use.

 

2. That the Use/Zone Matrix be amended to provide that the displaying, storing and selling of automobiles, pickup trucks and vans under Retail Business - Unlimited, Outside shall be a special use in the I-1 (Light Industrial) zone of the City.
