ORDINANCE NO. 2356

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A ROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

WHEREAS, the right-of-way hereinafter described has been petitioned for vacation; and

 

WHEREAS, such vacation has been approved by the Planning Commission and would not be detrimental to the inhabitants of the City of Grand Junction;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the right-of-way more particularly described as follows:

 

Beginning at the Northwest Corner of Lot 24, Block 1 of the Amended Plat of Crawford Subdivision in the City of Grand Junction; thence North 11.0 feet; thence East 56.96 feet to the Denver and Rio Grande Railroad right-of-way; thence South 40 deg. 12 min. East along said railroad right-of-way 14.40 feet to the Northeast Corner of said Lot 24; thence West along the north boundary line of said Lot 24, 66.26 feet to the Point of Beginning,

 

is hereby vacated, subject to existing easements for utilities.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 5th day of August, 1987.
