ORDINANCE NO. 2369

 

CONCERNING WRECKER SERVICE WITHIN THE CITY.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That Section 30-75(b) of Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

 

(b) Wrecker service holding public utilities commission permits, may get on the rotation list at the Police Department by registering there and leaving current copies of their tariffs as filed with the Public Utilities Commission. WRECKER SERVICE AREAS SHALL BE AS FROM TIME TO TIME ESTABLISHED BY THE 911 COMBINED COMMUNICATIONS CENTER. Calls for wrecker service at accidents shall be made from the list, in rotation, as such service is required by those operators of vehicles who have no personal preference for the service.
