ORDINANCE NO. 2379

 

VACATING A PORTION OF SECOND STREET AND A PORTION OF ALLEYWAY IN BLOCK 101, CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That Second Street between the North line of Main Street and the South line of Rood Avenue, City of Grand Junction, except beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 13, Block 100 of the original town of Grand Junction, Colorado, thence North along the East line of said Lot 13 a distance of 15.00 feet to a point; thence Southeasterly a distance of 61.85 feet to a point, said point being on the extension of the North right-of-way line of Main Street; thence West along the extension of the North right-of-way line of Main Street a distance of 60.00 feet to the point of beginning, and

 

The West 150 feet of the East-West Alleyway in Block 101, City of Grand Junction, both in Mesa County, Colorado, be, and the same are hereby, vacated, subject to a twenty foot easement for utility purposes in the vacated portion of Second Street and subject to an easement for existing utilities in the vacated portion of alleyway.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of April, 1988.
