ORDINANCE NO. 2392

 

VACATING THE WEST TEN FEET OF THIRD STREET LYING BETWEEN NORTH AVENUE ON THE SOUTH AND THE FIRST ALLEY TO THE NORTH OF NORTH AVENUE.

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

The west ten feet of Third Street from North Avenue north to the first alley in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, is hereby vacated; subject, however, to the reservation by the City of Grand Junction of utility easements lying under, over or across said vacated right-of-way and specifically subject to the existing easement in favor of the Public Service Company of Colorado lying within said vacated portion of said right-of-way; this vacation is further subject to the restriction that the vacated portions of said right-of-way shall not constitute a separate parcel for any purpose but shall become part of the respective abutting lot(s) to the west.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of August, 1988.
