ORDINANCE NO. 2422

AMENDING SECTION 12-29 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES TO REQUIRE A $10.00 OPEN BURNING PERMIT FEE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That Section 12-29 of the City Code of Ordinances is amended by the addition of a new paragraph to be placed at the end of said section which shall read as follows:

"Open burning. There will be a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for each permit required by Section 4.101(34) of the 1985 Edition of the Uniform Fire Code to be paid by the permittee to help cover costs incurred by the fire department during the burning season," to be effective July 1, 1989.
