ORDINANCE NO. 2426

 

CHANGING THE ZONING ON CERTAIN LANDS WITHIN THE CITY WITH A STREET ADDRESS OF 407 GLENWOOD AVENUE

 

The Council finds that the applicant has complied with applicable regulations of the City's Development Code and that the Planning Commission has recommended that the rezoning request be granted:

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That the zoning category on the following lands be changed as indicated:

 

THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 407 GLENWOOD AVENUE AND LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS ALL OF LOT 6 OF BLOCK 11, SHERWOOD ADDITION, ACCORDING TO THE AMENDED PLAT OF LOTS 8, 9, 11, 12 AND 13 OF SHERWOOD ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED TRACT:

 

BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT 6; THENCE WESTERLY 60 FEET ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID LOT 6; THENCE NORTHERLY TO A POINT ON THE NORTH LINE OF SAID LOT 6, 60 FEET WEST OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID LOT 6; THENCE SOUTHERLY ALONG THE EAST LINE OF SAID LOT 6 TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING.

 

Is hereby rezoned from C-2 to C-1.

 

PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of May, 1989.
