ORDINANCE NO. 2463

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of January, 1990, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction, known as Heatheridge Estates Annexation No. 2, to wit:

That real property being a portion of Heatheridge Estates in Section 22, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit: Lots 7 through 10, Block 1; Lots 1 through 14, Block 2, and that lot labeled Public Site in said Block 2, together with all public rights-of-way for Rodell Drive and Antero Court as the same appear on the plat for Heatheridge Estates, recorded in Plat Book 11 at Page 177 in the office of the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder.

and

WHEREAS, a hearing on the petition was duly held after proper notice on the 7th day of February, 1990; and

WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the property situate in Mesa County, Colorado, known as Heatheridge Estates Annexation No. 2 and described to wit:

That real property being a portion of Heatheridge Estates in Section 22, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, Mesa County, Colorado, to wit: Lots 7 through 10, Block 1; Lots 1 through 14, Block 2, and that lot labeled Public Site in said Block 2, together with all public rights-of-way for Rodell Drive and Antero Court as the same appear on the plat for Heatheridge Estates, recorded in Plat Book 11 at Page 177 in the office of the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder,

be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of February, 1990.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 2463, was introduced, read, and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 7th day of February, 1990, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City, at least ten days before its final passage.
