ORDINANCE NO. 2478

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE WATER RATES IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

1. That the following section of Section 31-12 of Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as indicated:

A. That subsection 31-12(f) is amended to read:

(f) SENIOR CITIZEN RATE:

A person who is SIXTY-FIVE (65) years of age or older and head of a household may certify as to such facts on forms to be supplied by the finance department of the city to receive a reduction of TWO DOLLARS ($2.00) per month from the minimum charge applicable to such person as a residential water user.
