ORDINANCE NO. 2479

AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING GARBAGE AND TRASH AND AMENDING THE RATE FOR COLLECTION OF SAME IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

1. That the following subsection of Section 14-12 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

a. (A)(1)(c)

Senior Citizen Rate: A person who is SIXTY-FIVE (65) years of age or older and head of a household may certify as to such facts on forms to be supplied by the finance department of the city to receive a reduction of one dollar ($1.00) per month from the basic minimum rate applicable to such person for residential trash and garbage removal.
