ORDINANCE NO. 2498

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING CERTAIN SUMS OF MONEY TO DEFRAY THE NECESSARY EXPENSES AND LIABILITIES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 1991, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1991.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

SECTION 1. That the following sums of money, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be and the same are hereby appropriated for the purpose of defraying the necessary expenses and liabilities of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1991, and ending December 31, 1991, said sums to be derived from the various funds as indicated for the expenditures of:

The following sum shall be appropriated to the Administrative Services Department, said sum to be derived from charges to various departments receiving services rendered by the Data Processing Division:

For Data Processing Fund $475,940

Revenue from Data Processing Fund $475,940

The following sum shall be appropriated to the Equipment Division, said sum to be derived from equipment rentals to be charged the various departments of the City for use of said equipment from the appropriations of their respective departments.

For Equipment Fund $1,534,257

Revenue from Equipment Fund $1,534,257

The following sum shall be appropriated to the Administrative Services Department, said sum to be derived from charges to various departments and other entities using materials stocked in "Stores Inventory" and having printing done by the City Printing Operation.

For Stores Fund $438,594

Revenue from Stores Fund $438,594

The following sum shall be appropriated to the Administrative Services Department, said sum to be derived from charges to the various departments of the City for General Liability and Fire Insurance and Workmans Compensation Insurance.

For Self Insurance Fund $2,079,532

Revenue from Self Insurance Fund $2,079,532

The following sum shall be appropriated to the Communications Center, said sum to be derived from communications services to be charged to the various departments of the City and other governmental entities for use of said services from the appropriations of their respective departments and budgets.

For Communications Center Fund $681,701

Revenue from Communications Center Fund $681,701

SECTION 2. That the following amounts are hereby levied for collection in the year 1990 and for the specific purpose indicated.

For General Fund $1,529,013

8.967 MILLS

SECTION 3. That commencing January 1, 1991, the annual salary of the City Manager of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, shall be $71,500.
