ORDINANCE NO. 2521
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2104 OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That Ordinance No. 2104 of the City of Grand Junction be amended, by changing subsection 24 of Chapter 28, Paragraph 6A.3. by modifying said paragraph of the Ordinance, all to read as follows:

Paragraph 6.A.3. to read in relevant part:
A police officer or other authorized person of the City of Grand Junction, acting in official capacity, may temporarily immobilize such vehicle by attaching to it a device designed to restrict the normal movement of the vehicle provided, however, that THE VEHICLE SHALL BE LOCATED ON PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY OR IN SUCH A PLACE FREQUENTED BY THE PUBLIC FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES OR PRIVATE PROPERTY WHERE THE PUBLIC IS A BUSINESS INVITEE AND that prior to the immobilization the Municipal Court shall review the procedure followed and enter an order directing the immobilization.
