ORDINANCE 2581
AMENDMENT OF SECTION 19-77 TO ALLOW A DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA FOR THE JUCO TOURNAMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.
Section 19-77 of the Code of Ordinances be amended by the addition of a new subsection (d)(7) to read as follows:
During functions of the National Junior College Baseball World Series (JUCO) smoking is allowed in the stands of the Sam Suplizio Field in an area adjacent to the right field line beginning at the Southernmost portion and extending thirty feet north by including rows 1-13 in such area.
"Stands" for the purpose of this amendment include bleachers and other seating facilities for spectators in the outdoors section of Sam Suplizio Field.
This ordinance shall be repealed without further action at the conclusion of the 1993 JUCO tournament.
