ORDINANCE NO. 2605

AMENDING CHAPTER 17, SECTION 17-108, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That Section 17-108 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, be amended by the addition of the following after the last sentence of said section:

17-108 . . . The permittee shall procure and maintain or shall cause any contractor or subcontractor of the permittee to procure and maintain, workers compensation insurance and employers liability insurance in conformance with applicable statutes or requirements of the State of Colorado. All coverage shall be so maintained as to cover any and all employment liability, claims, demands and other obligations assumed or incurred by the permittee, arising out of, or resulting from, activities entered into in furtherance of said permit.
