ORDINANCE NO. 2629

 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE

  CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 LA ROCHE ANNEXATION - APPROXIMATELY 21.14 ACRES

 LOCATED SOUTH OF I-70, EAST OF 23-1/2 ROAD

 WHEREAS, on the 4th day of November, 1992, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and

 WHEREAS, a hearing on the petition was duly held after proper notice on the 16th day of December, 1992; and

 WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed;

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 That the property situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described to wit:

be and is hereby annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.

 PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of January, 1993.

A tract of land located in Section 32 township 1 North Range 1 West Ute Meridian more specifically described as follows:

The N 1/2 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 said section 32 except beginning 2574.83 ft/ West amd 1980 ft. North of the SE Corner said section 32: thence east 174.24 ft.; thence North 250 ft.; thence West 174.24 ft.; thence South to th ePOint of Beginning; and, that part of the S 1/2 SW 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 32 T1S R1W lying South of Interstate 70.
