VACATING TWO UTILITIES EASEMENTS ON PROPERTY WITH
A STREET ADDRESS OF 865 NORTH AVENUE
WHEREAS, the requirements for vacating easements, as set forth in section 8-3 of the Zoning and Development Code, have been satisfied; and
WHEREAS, a replat of Lots 7 through 27, Block 4 in the City of Grand Junction, also known as the Meacham Subdivision has been submitted which dedicates easements for relocated and new utilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That the easements more specifically described:
Commencing at the South East corner of Lot 17, Block 4, City of Grand Junction. Thence in a northerly direction adjacent and parallel to the East line of said Lot 17 a distance of 103 feet to a true point of beginning, thence in a westerly direction adjacent and parallel with the North line of Lot 17 a distance of 145 feet, thence in a Northerly direction adjacent and parallel to West line of Lot 22, Block 4, City of Grand Junction a distance of 22 feet to a point of terminus; and that portion of the east-west 20-foot alley vacated by City Ordinance 1448 (Book 988, Page 413) retained as easement across Lots 7 through 11 and Lots 22 through 27, Block 4, City of Grand Junction.
are hereby vacated subject to the Meacham Subdivision plat being recorded with the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder.
