Ordinance Zoning Cambridge Annexation
Recitals.
The property known as the Cambridge Annexation, more particularly described on Exhibit A, attached and incorporated herein by reference, was annexed to the City by Ordinance No. 2687, and requires a City zoning designation be applied to the property. The property was zoned County Planned Residential with an approved density of 2.24 units per acre. Surrounding uses and zones are residential with densities up to 2 units per acre.
After public notice and public hearing as required by the Zoning and Development Code, the Grand Junction Planning Commission recommended approval of the zone of annexation to Planned Residential with a maximum of 2.24 units per acre.
The City Council has determined that the requested zoning is in conformance with the stated criteria of Section 4-4-4 and Section 4-11 of the Zoning and Development Code.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION THAT:
All Lots in all Blocks of Cambridge Subdivision are hereby zoned Planned Residential with a maximum density of 2.24 units per acre and that the approved County plan for development is hereby accepted by the City.
