AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE
CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO
POMONA PARK ANNEXATION
APPROXIMATELY 550.43 ACRES
LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST, NORTHEAST AND SOUTHEAST
CORNERS OF 24 ROAD AND I-70 INTERCHANGE, THEN EASTERLY TO 24 3/4 ROAD
INCLUDING VARIOUS PROPERTIES EAST, WEST AND SOUTH INCLUDING THE KAY,
VALLEY MEADOWS AND MOONRIDGE FALLS SUBDIVISIONS
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of February, 1995 the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and
WHEREAS, a hearing on the petition was duly held after proper notice on the 15th day of March, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
That the property situate in Mesa County, Colorado, and described to wit:
A parcel of land situate in Sections 26,32,33,34 and 35 Township 1 North, Range 1 West and in Section 3 Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, Mesa County, Colorado, being more particularly described as follows:
