VACATING THE EAST-WEST ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY BETWEEN 11TH AND 12TH STREETS AND BETWEEN COLORADO AND UTE AVENUES.

 

Recitals:

 

 The Planning Commission at their September 8, 1998, meeting recommended approval of the vacation of the east-west alley right-of-way located between 11th and 12th Streets and between Colorado and Ute Avenues, and to provide a 20 foot wide multi-purpose utility easement the entire width and length of this area. The City Council hereby finds that the vacation of the right-of-way is in compliance with the criteria set forth in Section 8-3 of the Zoning and Development Code.

 

 

 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 That the land described below, known as the east-west alley right-of-way, is hereby vacated and a 20-foot wide multi-purpose utility easement is provided:

 

 All for the East-West alley lying within Block 132, City of Grand Junction in the SE ΒΌ of Section 14, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, City of Grand Junction, County of Mesa, State of Colorado.
